What’s it like joining the Canyon Factory Racing?
It’s awesome to have such a great opportunity to follow my dreams on the World Cup circuit! Being a first-year junior, there are a lot of nerves so it’s awesome to have such great people around you with so much experience to learn from! I’m really enjoying the process and I’m really looking forward to getting the year started!
You have been on the Canyon Sender for a little while, how are you getting on with it?
I have had some great time at home riding my new Sender and I’m loving it! Going onto a new bike, you are never really sure how you will feel so I’m really happy with how natural everything feels.
What are your goals for 2018?
For my first year on the World Cup circuit I would like to be consistently in the top 5. If I could find my way onto the podium I would be really happy!
As a first-year junior which track are you looking forward to most?
I’m really looking forward to Losinj, Croatia as it will be my first ever World Cup! But I’m also keen to ride all of the World Cup tracks. I have wanted to ride them all for a long time and I’m excited that I am now able to!
If you could pick anywhere to have a World Cup event, where would it be and why?
It would be hard to look past home in Australia so I would pick Thredbo as it is one of my favourite tracks and is really fun to race!
